This shelf was an old window valance that a friend of mine sold me for $5. Ryan helped my tear off the front board, and I sprayed it black. It's not perfect, but primitive loves imperfection. |
I need to add something under the shelf, but I'm not sure what. It can't be something that sticks out at all, or it will get bumped. |
Love this built in cabinet in the living room. It's full of a bunch of random stuff, but at least it's not in complete chaos...this part of it anyway! |
But...here's the chaos. :-) I think I will buy white cabinet doors to go on the front of this. For now, it's a bit of a heap. Hehe! |
Getting rid of the mint green front door has to be a priority this week. I am not looking forward to doing it, but I know I'll be thrilled when it's gone! |
Kid's bathroom, which also serves as the main bath. |
The one item in my home that makes me smile every single time I see it! |
The southern half of the living room - it is more narrow than the other half, and I haven't done much with it yet. Alli loves the remote controlled ceiling fan. :-) |
Cute, Cute decor.!! I love decorating for fall, think I have about as much fall as I do Christmas!! Your home is looking nice!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLookin good! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! SO warm and inviting. As for the shelf....what about turning your shelf into a quilt rack and add a primitive/country quilt? Just a thought....whatever you come up with will look great!:)
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea. Not sure why I didn't think of it??? :-) The love seat is under that shelf, so only the top part of a quilt would show, but maybe I can move things around. I'm gonna think on that one...
DeleteI love what you have done so far!!! And I LOVE the sign in your bathroom!!!! I would laugh everytime I read that, too!!...LOL
ReplyDeleteHehe! I bought it several years ago without really thinking about where I would put it. When I got home, nothing but the bathroom seemed appropriate. It looks nice right above the toilet. :-)
DeleteEverything looks great. It is really coming together...and takes so much time when you are trying to make sure it feels like "home" for your family.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love the bathroom sign! :)
